Coaches, please read all the 6v6 Tournament Rules and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) by clicking on the articles on the left.

Please download the Tournament Player Registration From at the article on the left.

Coaches will need to provide one of these form for all players.

Don't forget about the Thursday night check-in prior to your tournament date.

FRAM 6th Annual 6v6 Holiday Tournament

U7&U8 - Sat. Dec 3rd and U9&U10 - Sat. Dec 10th

FRAM Soccer Club will again host it’s Annual 6v6 Holiday tournament for U7-U10 boys and girls.

The tournament will be held at the spectacular Nansen Field in Rolling Hills Estates.

$150 Per Team & referee volunteer

AYSO players are invited to participate in a fun tournament consisting of short-sided games For U10 players the tournament is a great way of preparing players for the upcoming AYSO Select and playoff soccer seasons. The AYSO philosophy at the Section, Area, and National level encourages play outside your region. Authorization from your AYSO Regional Commissioner is not required. Insurance will be provided by the Tournament.

Start looking for your players now. Teams can be formed by any coach or parent. The number of players on the teams range from 6 to 10. Players that are currently playing on a Club team are not eligible to participate. Club Academy or Development teams may be accepted and placed in a separate flight, but players cannot currently be registered with a Club team.

Acceptance will be on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to register early as some age groups filled up last year.

Registration and payment for tournament will be done online.

Coaches for the younger existing and new FRAM teams that will be forming in late Winter 2012

will be at the tournament to scout for players for their teams.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Team check-in on the Thursday night before your play date is required (not players, just a team representative)
6 v 6 players (including goalie) on small sided fields
Each team is to provide a volunteer/parent referee - referees eat free at the snack stand - this is mandatory
U10 teams should consist of Select (All-star) caliber players to maintain competition level
Maximum roster size is 10 players
Numbered uniforms, t-shirts or pinnies are required
Each team will play a minimum of 3 games
Medals will be given to Champions & Finalists place teams
All players participating will receive a tournament t-shirt
Bouncers or other entertainment will be available for younger siblings
Back up dates in the event weather requires cancellation are TBD.
Recreational Teams Only (No CYSA or club players allowed)
Club Academy or Development teams may be accepted - a separate flight will be created for these teams

Over the last 5 years we have had more than 200 teams from cities throughout the South Bay area participated in the Annual 6v6 Holiday Tournament for U7-U10 non-club teams. Teams come from including Palos Verdes, San Pedro, North, Central, West and South Torrance, North and South Redondo, Manhattan and Hermosa Beaches and even some teams from as far away as Corona! As always , a ton of fun was had by all and the competition was very tight. The scores of most games very close!

Those who attend the tournament are able to enjoy a festive holiday atmosphere, enjoy delicious breakfast treats, burgers, hot dogs, shaved ice, hot chocolate and other snacks while taking time to enjoy the jumpers and slides also at the field. Teams are guaranteed to play in at least 3 games and some teams in the finals played as many as 7 (20 minute) games!

Every player receives a FRAM 6v6 Holiday Tournament t-shirt and is automatically entered in the raffle for prizes that included US Men & Women National Team, LA Galaxy and Chivas USA replica jerseys, an autographed Chivas USA Cap, official MLS soccer balls & free attendance at the FRAM Youth Soccer Academy Sessions.

The Finalist for Boys and Girls in the U8 and U10 age groups receive medals and other prizes.
