Ajax Advances to the 2010 WPSL National Final

WPSL 2001, 2008 Champion and six time US National Champion Ajax Women returned to the 2010 WPSL finals July 31st.- August 1st., in Dallas, Texas. Ajax beat Oklahoma Alliance 2-0 in the semi final on Saturday evening. Sunday in an end to end game in 106’ temps. Ajax were beaten 2-1 on a goal in the 85th. minute by Boston Aztecs Breakers of the WPS. This is the 5th. year in a row that Ajax have appeared in the WPSL Final 4. No other team has appeared more than twice.

Ajax’s Dani Bosio Pacific Division player of the year and Keri Sanchez were named to the WPSL 2010 1st. team. Shannon Cross was named to the second team.

Brian Boswell Named WPSL Coach of the Year!

Ajax America Women's Team Coach, FRAM CQ Academy Director & FRAM CQ GU16 Coach

Ajax America’s Brian Boswell was named WPSL Coach of the Year for the fourth straight season, as his side rebounded from losing five starters from the 2007 U.S. Open Cup winners in the offseason to win the 2008 WPSL Championship in classy fashion.

The FRAM Ajax America Women’s Team, recent 2008 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Champions, has several former FRAM players and current FRAM CQ and Academy coaches on its roster and staff. Ajax Women’s America has won six (6) National Championships since 1998. Brian Boswell, Ajax America Coach, FRAM Youth Academy Director and FRAM CQ GU16 team coach, has been voted the WPSL Coach of the Year for the past 4 seasons. The WPSL is a 65-team national women’s soccer league with six conferences and is considered one of the top women’s soccer leagues in the world. The WPSL’s mission is to provide the highest level of women’s soccer while simultaneously providing affordable, quality family entertainment and positive role models for youth.

Ajax Wins WPSL National Championship

As the final seconds of the 2008 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) National Final ticked off the clock, and the victorious Ajax America Women (14-3-1) began their team celebration, in a 3-1 victory over the Arizona Rush (10-2-3) for the 2008 WPSL National Champions.
