Fram Soccer Club is mourning the loss of a close member of it's Framily.
Charles Thomas Spagnola, "Chuck," has sadly passed away.
His relationship with FRAM began in early 2000’s, when he volunteered to be the team admin and business manager for the Ajax America Women’s team of the WPSL, who won the National Championship in the highest women’s league in the USA at that time.
Chuck’s daughter, McKennah, joined FRAM’s first ever U11 girls team in 2005, and Chuck took on the role of both team manager and assistant coach for his daughter’s FRAM teams. His passion for FRAM eventually led him to join the FRAM Executive Board, where he was first Club Secretary and later Vice President. He resigned that role earlier this year.
Chuck’s daughter played for FRAM her entire club career, and will be entering her senior year at NYU as a four year member of their Women’s Soccer Team.
The Club would like to extend it's sincerest condolences to the family and offer our support in this difficult time. We will remember Chuck for his terrific support to the club, his generosity and outstanding character will not be forgotten.
