FRAM CQ Soccer Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Richard Boon as the new Director of Coaching and Player Development.   Boon is a highly qualified coach and coach instructor who holds the USSF National Youth License, USSF National A License as well as the UEFA License. Boon brings to FRAM CQ a wealth of experience and a winning pedigree.

FRAM is pleased to announce the addition of LUM Assistant Coach, Michael Erush, to our coaching staff.  Michael’s playing experience includes Club National Championships, the US National Team, college level at LMU (including participating in the NCAA tournament) and at the Professional Level with the Colorado Rapids and Chivas.  Michael holds the USSF A License and his coaching experience inludes Club teams, college and the men’s semi-pro Premier Development League.  Michael will be coaching the BU15 White team.  Click HERE for more information about Michael. 

FRAM has completed it’s tryouts for the upcoming 2010-2011 soccer season and we are in the process of finalizing our rosters.  However, teams may still have open roster slots. We will be forming new boys and girls teams in the U9, U10 & U11 age groups. We are also seeking players to strengthen our existing U9 - U13 teams.  Additionally, we will be forming developmental teams for the U8 age group.

FRAM GU13 White players worked to collect more than 150 pairs of shoes to donate to the Sports Chalet "Soles for Souls" program to help the Haitian Earthquake victims.  We are so proud of the FRAM GU13 White players,  Emily Robinson and Adriana Sheu for their efforts to help those who need it so much. 

Victoria Buda from the FRAM GU13 team has been selected to participate in the Cal South's Olympic Development Program.

Traci Hirokawa of the FRAM GU13 team won the 2010 West Torrance Goalie War Challenge in the U14 bracket. Competing against 9 other goalkeepers she won her bracket letting in the fewest amount of goals.  Then, in an exciting Final after going down 4-1 she eventually triumphed 6-5. Congratulations Traci!

FRAM BU13, coached by Kenyon Lohn, started off 2010 with medals when they were finalists at the Ealges Winter Classic Tournament on a balmy January weekend in Camarillo. 

The FRAM GU11 Team, coached by Courtney Moseley, resumed play after the Holiday break by winning the 2010 Legends Cup.  Despite the heavy rain, the FRAM GU11 team dominated play during the Championship game and was victorious.
